Creativity is easier dreamt than done. It’s so easy to romanticize what I might or could possibly create, but the ‘doing’ part of it isn’t as easy. My goal for composing flute melodies everyday is dashed. Reality has set in and I realized it’s not practical time wise. However, it doesn’t mean I cannot still compose, which is what this whole exercise is all about, to compose music. My timeline will just have to be adjusted. In any case, here is Flute Soliloquy #2.

I love sunset and sunrise, when the sky puts on an amazing display of colors not often seen in daytime.
Composed on March 6th, 2012. Flute Soliloquy 1 is the first of my little flute music meditation. Each day I try to express myself through music, especially with my flute which I rarely get to play anymore in public. However, just because I don’t play it in public, it shouldn’t stop me from creating and playing it at home or anywhere else. Creativity also means create your own opportunity.
I offer this as a prayer of gratitude and thanksgiving for the blessings God has given me.
This is beautiful. I have nothing more to say.

A visual feast of nature’s beauty and it’s awesomeness. Sometimes, we have to be reminded to use our gifts. In this case, if you aren’t blind, then OPEN your eyes!! SEE the world. If you don’t see the beauty, then SEEK the beauty of the world. Underneath all the grime and trash you may notice, there’s a flower bud ready to bloom. Twice a day each day, there’s a glorious light show up in the sky.
Don’t know how to commune with God’s presence? Or maybe you are looking for God, the Divine? OPEN your eyes!!
When I look at nature’s beautiful scenery, I experience a deep and overwhelming sense of wonder, as if all of a sudden I can breath again. When words cannot describe this feeling, I try to recreate it in music and art, but it eludes me most of the time.
